A new Kizzey opens as its own screen: what changed, the version you have and the version on offer, and the build made for your phone. Update now, hand it to the system installer, or leave it for later. It waits at the top of Home until you are ready.

  • Checked before it installs. Every download is matched against its published SHA-256 fingerprint first.
  • Nothing is lost. Your settings, presences and account stay exactly as they are.
  • Your call. Turn on automatic updates, or keep tapping Update yourself.

Each member's Discord activity sits just above their messages in soft lime, so you can see who is gaming or listening before you say hello. Tap it for the full presence card. @mentions stand out in the conversation, so the messages meant for you are easy to spot.

Your token stays yours

It lives in the app's private storage and goes to Discord. Registering sends it over HTTPS so the server can confirm your Discord id; the token itself is never stored or logged.

Buttons in the app ask for a copy of your data or its erasure, answered by a person.

Exactly what Shizuku is used for

Shizuku is optional and off by default. Kizzey asks for one Shizuku permission and only runs read-only Android diagnostic commands, the same ones adb debugging can run. No root, no Accessibility service, no Device Admin.

Good to know

Is Kizzey free?

Yes. Kizzey is free and open source, and every Rich Presence feature is free to use. Donations and a few community extras, such as promoting your own content, are optional.

Does Kizzey need root?

No. Kizzey works on a normal Android phone. Shizuku is optional and only unlocks extras such as live device stats and audio details.

Is my Discord token safe?

Your token is kept in the app's private storage on your phone and is sent to Discord to set your presence. If you register on the Kizzey Network, it is sent over HTTPS so Kizzey's server can confirm your Discord id; the server keeps only that id and never stores or logs the token. If you never register, it never reaches Kizzey's server. The privacy policy has the full picture.

How do I install and update Kizzey?

Download the latest APK from the Codeberg releases page and install it. arm64-v8a is right for almost every modern phone, and universal works everywhere. After that, Kizzey can offer new versions itself and checks each download against its SHA-256 fingerprint before Android installs it.

Where do the live numbers on this page come from?

From Kizzey's public stats endpoint, the same anonymous totals the app shows on Home. They are counts only: no names, no accounts and no devices.
